Dear Friends,

As I mentioned yesterday, today we have GAPI announcing a big COVID-19 Relief fundraiser that will benefit Georgia frontline healthcare providers, provide PPE and other equipment that’s needed, help people with Food insecurity and the vulnerable section of the society. We have pledged $10,000 immediate contribution to AAPI COVID-19 Relief Fund and have three other organizations, Global Mall & Walia Hospitality Food Drive, Salvation Army & United Way CSRA who’ll get the funds. We have formed a Fundraising Committee and we are aiming to collect $25,000 for this effort.

Please see the information below for details. I and the GAPI executive committee are also working with AAPI Leadership to help each other in fund raising. As a affected State, we will also receive funds from them eventually and distribute the funds appropriately as needed. This is an effort to unite our donations and do good for the communities we are in collectively. I am hoping for a vigorous and energetic response from all of our members and leaders.
