Dear friends,
Last Sunday the GAPI Executive Committee and Board of Directors took part in a community effort worth mentioning. This effort was initiated by our Fundraising Committee and Advisors. In conjunction with Global Mall and Walia Hospitality, this event took place in the Global Mall Parking lot on May 3rd, 2020. More than 1200 hot meals prepared by Walia Hospitality and sponsored by GAPI Foundation were disbursed to the needy from 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm. The total cost for the effort was $4000. This was possible due to your generous donation to the GAPI Covid-19 Relief Fund.

I thank Chandana, Syamala, Annapurna, Prabu, Parmesh and Subra for attending and giving their time on a Sunday for this event. Many thanks to Global Mall for providing the space and Ricky Walia and team from Walia Hospitality for preparing the much-needed meals for the needy. Thank you all!
