
Historic GAPI Regional Meeting in Savannah!

Physicians of Indian Heritage from Savannah and neighboring Statesboro joined for a unique GAPI Regional Meeting in Savannah past weekend. Organized by Dr. Mark Manocha, a well-known Ophthalmologist from Savannah and currently on GAPI Board of Directors (BOD) initiated the long-awaited meeting. Supported by Dr. Rani Reddy who is also on GAPI BOD from neighboring Statesboro, it was a very well-attended event. Out of town attendees were from Atlanta, Griffin, Douglas, Stockbridge, and Augusta. Dr. Manocha opened the meeting welcoming all and thanking for the support. Dr. Rani Reddy also welcomed everyone and thanked the vendors from Janssen, American Allergies and 27th Investments for their support. Dr. Hemant Yagnick, currently the President of GAPI spoke next and shared his excitement at this new meeting for GAPI. He went on to inform the physicians about the charitable, educational and networking goals for the organization and extolled everyone to become a Life Member. He ended by inviting all to the Annual Meeting in Augusta on May 9th, 2020. The vendors took to the floor and spoke about the products. This was followed by dinner. Dr. Manocha and Dr. Reddy thanked everyone at the close of the meeting.
