GAPI had an annual meeting on July 11th on a much smaller scale due to The COVID-19. The event was conducted outdoors at Dr. Syamala and Paramesh Erramilli’s  beautiful residence to maintain social distancing. The event was attended by past GAPI Presidents, AAPI members, GAPI BOD and BOT.

We started with a prayer song by Dr. Annapurna Bhat right next to the Chattahoochee River, followed by speeches by our hosts the Erramillis Dr. Gangasani, Dr. Hemant Yagnick, the out going president and the incoming president, Dr. Chandana Prabhudev. Dr.P.B. Rao introduced the BOT. Dr. Tarak Patel was the MC for the meeting and is the new president elect. Dr. Uma Jonnalagadda took over as secretary and Dr. Raj Alappan took over the post as treasurer in absentia.

The AAPI change of guard was conducted the same evening when Dr. Sudhakar Jonnalagadda took over as AAPI president 2020-21.
